The Family vs. The Devil

Here is a female police officer who no longer has the capacity to fight for herself. She has lost awareness of how much danger she is in, and the identity she once had before her traumatic experiences have evaporated.

Her family can recognize the changes in her behaviour, mood and thinking. The adverse effects of this devil are projected on the family as anger, disengagement, lack of intimacy and isolation. However, they continue to fight for her, as difficult as it may be. If it were up to her, she would rather not feel anything at all. But the family wants their wife and mother back, so they fight.
