Spent

All my images are based on a staged photograph. I recreate a real situation that I, or my client, have been in, then I photograph it and digitally paint over the photo. This is the only image I’ve created that hasn’t been staged.

This photo was taken around 4am after a busy night, I was restocking the ambulance and I noticed my partner sitting on the end of the stretcher. I grabbed my camera and took this photo. There’s no gore, no ghosts but it’s the most ‘real’ image I’ve created. It’s also the most popular piece in my collection.
