Sometimes it doesn't matter how hard we try; some days, it feels like someone switched all my medications with water. There are days when death always gets his way. When I was learning to become a paramedic, I thought I would save everyone. I've since learned that death isn't the worst thing that can happen to someone. This image is very healing for me as it illustrates the healing of the healer.

on April 27, 2015Love the wings on the medic! Our wings are made of tools and equipment that helps us do our best. The wings of our Angels are celestial, light, airy. Some days we just need to know that our heavy wings don't always lift us up...we must rely on "knowing" that our Angel's wings are the only ones that can help us rise above a bad call.
