I get several requests every week to create memorial portraits. It's sad but rewarding work as I hope it brings some comfort to the family members who commission them from me.
This is Jackie, her mother Mary A Wallace is the original photographer. Mary had commissioned me to create this portrait and to add several, not so obvious, elements to Jackie's original photo. I don't share most of my memorial portraits but I am in this case, with the family's permission, as this is one of my favourites.
